I am IN LOVE with these Mini Brands from Zuru… so I decided to do a DIY and create a store with the containers the mini brands come in and the display box.. you can use any box though of course!
You can create your own little store using the following:
– Glue (Hot glue works best, have an adult help with this part!)
– A box ( You can use the display box or any other box will do!)
– The white containers that the mini brands came in.
– White paper (optional)
All you do is hot glue the containers onto the box! That’s it! GET CREATIVE! You can cover the box with paper, color & decorate it than glue on the containers. make it all your own!
We want to see your creations!! Post a pic on Instagram and tag us: @DreamTeamToysReview
I have another box to use.. now I just need more Mini Brands! Haha I want to create something else with it. Maybe a restaurant? I dunno… but I am so addicted! This one was my 3rd one to create and I love how we added the table/seats inside.
You can purchase these Mini Brands at Walmart or on Amazon for right around $6 each.
LJ turned 5! He is in love with Ghostbusters right now, so we decided to go with it and do a Ghostbusters theme!
I looked online for some ideas on how to decorate.. and on the cheap too. We bought all of our decorations from the Dollar Tree & Walmart. I took some tissue paper and cut out some slime looking shapes for the present table.
I did purchase a printable banner off of Etsy.. $8.. but so worth it!
For the proton packs, we also bought everything from the Dollar Tree, the containers and tubing we had around the house. We hot glued everything together and it turned out really cute! We placed an empty flat box in each of the bags so it made it sturdy.
See! Aren’t they cool! We tied up the straps some so they hung better on the boys’ backs. They had a blast playing with these. I was surprised at how long they lasted. My 3 year old is rough, so his lasted a few days.. but the other two are still intact!
Ghostbuster toys are so hard to find! Thank goodness for Playmobil!
LJ wanted to set it all up.. we did out the Ghostbuster car together later that night.. it was a lot of fun!
Of course! The best part! My Sister made LJ an amazing home made ice cream cake! It had edible slime inside with one of the Ghostbusters. It was so cute… and SO Yum!
His party was such a blast!
I so hate it when my boys get sick. They are ALL THREE recovering from either a cold or really bad allergies. Not only are they miserable, but so is Mommy! They haven’t slept well for 4 nights now, so I feel like a Mombie! ha!
Trying to entertain 3 kids sick, isn’t easy. Especially when all you feel like doing is sleeping! (only if the boys felt that way too Ha) We can’t anywhere either, or out side for that matter, since its been raining her for a few day straight. So I decided to make some play-dough. We used to make this all the time, but haven’t in awhile so this was something fun to do again.
The boys usually help me measure and mix everything, then I cook it over the stove top.
Click HERE for the recipe we used and below is the video we did from our Thomas channel:
We love this play-dough, it’s so warm and calming and it smells great too! This is definitely our favorite recipe.
What are your favorite things to do at home when it rains or when the kids are sick? Let me know in the comment section, I need MORE ideas, especially for Baby A for when the older too are back in school.Which brings me to the next subject…
SCHOOL.. more like ….KINDERGARTEN! Eek!
Zieke starts Kindergarten in 3 weeks.. and I am NOT ready for it. He will be gone from 8:30am – 3:30pm. Such a long time. Zieke and LJ started preschool last year but were only gone for 3.5 hours. So by the time I took them, came back, had lunch and Aaron took a nap, it was time to get them.
I have been debating about Homeschooling him, but just don’t know where or when we will be moving. Some of the schools in our area are ok, some.. not so much.
Our school system now a days are so out of wack. Not to mention, school shootings, peer pressure and the list goes on..
I told my Husband we will see how his first few weeks go and then revisit it then.
I mean, can I even do it? I guess for the first few years, but after that.. not so sure. Math was definitely NOT my strongest subject, BUT I feel I have accomplished a lot in life, and I was Homeschooled.
We were part of a Homeschool group were we had music, drama, art & gym. It was great! A lot of people seem to think Homeschoolers are odd, but really we aren’t! We were socialized just as much as any other public school attending kid. Just because we didn’t go somewhere everyday didn’t mean we weren’t social. We went to two groups per week, plus we were active in our church.
So, I dunno. Life is busy too.. I guess I will continue to think and pray, while trying to stay awake.. ha!
– Mombie AKA Mommy Bmom
Well, this Mommy was up at 4am due to a teething baby.. oh gee.. what I would do for a nice warm bed and peace and quiet for about 2 hours lol.. anyways..
This thing was super cool! I didnt even know that it came with tools to “dig it”. We found this awesome thing at walmart for $5.00. So worth it! Zieke loved it, I think more than LJ, but then poor LJ doesnt get a chance to like anything because of Zieke.. that sharing thing is a work in progress haha
Grin Studios makes this! Check them out here and see what other items they have to offer!
This was messy but easy to clean up! I totally want to get more, maybe even the diamond one next time!
Good Morning Dreamers!
We did it! We have made it to 100 videos! We started exactly three months ago! We have learned so much! Our first video was of LJ walking and now look at it! Haha.. It has def been a learning process, but so much fun! Even if we don’t make it far, I love it! I think I have found something I really enjoy doing.
Thank you for all of your support! Now on to 200 videos!! LOL
Love you all Dreamers!
Good Morning Dreamers!
This was fun! Everything was found at the dollar tree for $4.00!
This was a great mini cooking session with the boys! Super easy since everything was premade. Maybe you could get even more creative and make your own crust and add some veggies!
Zieke was more into this than LJ was, LJ just wanted to eat everything lol. The boys LOVE to help out so this was neat. Zieke kept saying he made us all dinner 🙂
Well Dreamers, I’m going to TN for a few days. Till next time!
Good morning Dreamers!
How to draw Peppa Pig with Mommy B! Try drawing Peppa Pig yourself!
This was fun and something I found therapeutic! My boys LOVE to color so encourage your kids to draw by drawing their favorite characters.
I am all about creative play, kids now a days don’t get enough of it! My boys do use technology, I have nothing against it, but using their minds to be creative is a very special thing!
So, you can watch this video with them, or skip the video and go straight to the creativity!
Heading off early to do the very same thing with my little ones!
Keep on Dreaming Dreamers!
Good Morning Dreamers!

This was SOO much fun! I think my favorite video so far! I even found some free animated dinosaurs to add in our video! Let us know what you think!
My boys are still taking about this and we plan to do another one soon with some friends and family.
Aren’t these cool! Gee.. The things you can find on the internet these days!
A little more about us:
During this hunt, Zieke was super excited about it, LJ.. well he is kinda in his own world most of the time.. LOL.. as you can tell my sister walked about with him most of the time in this video. (Baby A was with my mom). It’s amazing how different they are.. Love them for who they are though, even though it may be challenging.. I wouldn’t change it.
Thanks for all of your support dreamers!
