This game is so much fun.. and the fun seems to never end.. nor does the creativity! Gridopolis is like a mix between chess and checkers.
Gridopolis s an easy-to-learn strategy game that is played in three dimensions. Designed for 2- to 4-players (or more!) it can even be modified during gameplay.
You only need a few simple parts, making it quick and easy to learn.
Play the world’s first FULLY three-dimensional strategy game. But watch out – the board changes dynamically during the game!
The board you start with is NOT the board you end up with.
Play with any number of two or more people! Change the number of pieces OR the grid-set size to change the length of your game.
Nodes are pieces that change how a game-pad works. Use a hyper-pad to ‘beam’ somewhere else. Use a blocker-box to shrink the grid-set.
Use the simple system to build other grid-sets AND play other games. Then, whenever you’re ready, create your own original game from scratch.
Too much creativity? Just play one of the already-designed games and take it easy.
I love this game, it really is a lot of fun. You can create your own platform to play on and even make up a whole game of your own! Possibilities are kinda endless! Haha
You can purchase this game on Amazon for right around $40.00.

So this game is really neat. It comes with a dice that you roll then scan via your smartphone on the Trivia Dice game app and it gives you trivia questions to answer! So fun!
This would be fun to take when going out to eat to buy some time when waiting for food. It’s super simple to play, we did have a little trouble scanning the dice, but when we moved further away while scanning the dice it seemed to work just fine.
Completing homework assignments has its rewards not just in the classroom but at home thanks to Smartphone Trivia Dice ($6.99) from Continuum Games, a captivating boutique of cooperative play products. Know-it-alls can challenge mom and dad to a round of trivia or enjoy solo play. The fun is stored right in their phones.
Kids ages nine or above already have a fondness for their cellphones. Instead of texting or watching videos, have them download the Trivia App that becomes a teachable moment (or hour!). A scan-able cube resembling a die appears on the screen. Give it a virtual roll and see where it stops. Each side of the cube reveals a topic ranging from Sports and Entertainment to Science or General Knowledge. There are six trivia categories in all.
When ready for a fresh game, type in the name of each player and follow the instructions to roll and scan the cube. Answer correctly and continue through each category from Geography to Science. But if you miss an answer, you lose your turn. Bragging rights go to the first person that can answers all six categories accurately!
Smartphone Trivia Dice is a fun technology enabled trivia game that uses the scanner on your Smartphone and a unique scan-able cube. Roll the die, scan it, and answer trivia questions on your Smartphone. The side of the die determines your trivia category. Get your question right, go again. Miss it; pass the die to the next player. The first to answer one question correctly in each of the six categories wins! For ages 9+.
Continuum Games makes some really fun game! This is definitely a favorite so far!

Ryan has launched a game for Apple devices.. and we had to try it out.. oh and it’s free!!
My boys love to play games on hand held devices. This is similar to other games out there, like the Tom Run and Minion Run games.
Ryan, is of course, in the game and so is Combo Panda and Gus the Gummy Gator! It’s so colorful and animated so cute! You can purchase things for the game if you really want to. Ha!
Super simple to play, my 4 and 6 year old had no trouble playing.. me on the other hand.. haha.. well..
Swipe left, right, up and down! That’s pretty much the gist of it.
I couldn’t find this game available for download on the Google Play store, so I think right now it’s only available for Apple devices.
Check out our video review:
I’m sure every kid that watches Ryan’s channel is playing this game!

Word mine is a fun puzzle solving word game by Sensible Objects. It’s part of their Voice Originals line of games. Smart games for smart speakers!
Sensible Object, an award winning London-based game studio, introduces Word Mine, their newest gaming development in the line of Voice Originals games, which utilize the power of smart voice technology to create an unparalleled play experience. In Word Mine, people of planet Earth have used and discarded all their words, leaving them buried in the ground. Play Word Mine as an explorer on a mission to piece together the forgotten words of the world. You must master the mine by thinking fast and solving the anagrams to bring words back into the world!
Alexa will guide you through Word Mine and help you navigate the game as she looks out for your safety and helps you read the letters, but it’s up to you to solve the word puzzle in time before the mine collapses in on you. Every level uncovers new letters, and it’s up to you to use your lexical prowess to get to the bottom of the mine and collect coins for the words you create. Also, you can trade these coins for helpful items from the shopkeeper, to use on further expeditions in the future. The deeper you mine the harder the anagrams get, allowing you to test and expand your vocabulary while having fun.
To play Word Mine, activate the free Skill from the Alexa app and then say “Alexa, let’s play Word Mine.” Then, enjoy the game as followed:
● As you enter the mine, you are presented with a set of 3 letters, and asked to make a word that uses all 3 letters. The clock is ticking though, you have 90 seconds to crack the anagram!
● Get the word correct and you can head further into the mine. The deeper you go the harder the anagrams get. Keep digging until you are unable to make a new word.
● Run out of time and you trigger a collapse and have to leave the mine, but you get to keep all the words you found that day.
● After leaving the mine, you will meet a shopkeeper who needs the words you mine to help people use words all over the world. The shopkeeper will offer you a payment of coins in exchange for the words you have taken from the mine to help you in future mining exhibitions.
● Return tomorrow for a new word puzzle every day.
Free to enable and play, Word Mine is available now on the Amazon Alexa store.
Thank you Sensible Games for introducing us to some fun free games! They offer more games as well, check out their website!
We had a lot of fun playing this game, you do have to wait the next day to play the next level, but it’s something to look forward to the next day!
Zieke is learning his letter and spelling, so this was great for him. He was so tickled when he recognized the letters. Even if you have younger kids, you can solve the word and then they can repeat the word to Alexa. Fun for the whole family!
This is definitely something to check out!
